I was a transfer student from Brazil. My wife and I had just gotten engaged in Sao Paulo and she had plans to come to the U.S. to study English. We decided we would get married and move to Utah to finish our college education. Back then LDS Business College offered a great two-year program focused on Business and Accounting and the transfer process worked out great.

Ensign College will hold its 136th Commencement exercises in the historic Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square on Friday, April 7, 2023, at 10 a.m. For more than 13 decades, the College has honored students who seek to enter the workforce with two-year degrees and certificates. In 2020 Ensign College began offering a limited number of Bachelor of Applied Science degrees, providing students with additional options.

On Friday, October 28 at 11 a.m., Ensign College will host the first annual Analytics Career Day, in the Ensign College Multipurpose Room on the college’s first floor at 95 N 300 W in Salt Lake City. The event is sponsored in partnership with BYU-Idaho and the Research and Business Development Center (RBDC). Over 125 students in data science and business analytics programs at both schools will learn from and mingle with industry professionals during a panel discussion, networking sessions, and lunch.

Then, as children grow older and are exposed to more professions, most find a new profession that piques their interest.

Since joining DECA in 2014, Ensign College students have progressively topped their 4-year university counterparts, finishing with their best ever results at the 2022 International Career Development Conference (ICDC). Their first year competing in a live national event, fifteen of the 2-year college’s seventeen participating students moved on to the final presentation in the Preliminary DECA Awards.
