Dean of Applied Sciences

BIO

Gregory Fox has served as the Dean of Applied Sciences at Ensign College since April 2024. Before becoming Dean, he served as the Business Department Chair and the Program Chair for Supply Chain Management and Project Management.

Greg began at Ensign College in 2020, and has taught courses in Business Strategy, Change Management, Economics and Finance and led the design of several upper division business management courses. He has held various committee assignments, including curriculum development, and hiring of new full-time faculty. He currently oversees Ensign College’s entrepreneur business plan competition, which is focused on helping students incubate and fund new business ventures.

Prior to Ensign College, Greg held senior alliance, channels, marketing, business development, strategy, corporate development, and product management roles with major global brands including Cisco Systems, Citrix, Huawei, Novell (Micro Focus), and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. He has held key management and advisory board roles in various Silicon Valley startups and has lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area, California; Shenzhen, China; Provo, Utah; and Houston, Texas.

Greg is a long-time contributor, author and speaker within alliance and partner ecosystem communities and has been an advisor to numerous startups, non-profits, and educational institutions.

Greg received a B.A. in Economics and an MBA from the Marriott School of Management from Brigham Young University and has completed executive education certificate programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, MIT Sloan School of Management, Babson College, and the Kellogg School of Management.
