Who Is Eligible
Continuing domestic and international students with a cumulative Ensign College GPA of at least 3.8 will be automatically awarded the scholarship.
Students must meet all other eligibility requirements mentioned in the Ensign College Scholarship Policy .
Award Amount
50% of Church member rate tuition.
Duration
1 semester, renewable.
Deadline
1 April (Spring), 1 August (Fall), and 1 December (Winter).

Required Enrollment
Full-time (12+ Credits).

Current Students: Your cumulative GPA on the day the awarding period begins.
New or Transfer Students: Starting the Winter 2026, new students to Ensign are no longer eligible for the Academic Merit scholarship. They will be eligible once they have a cumulative GPA at Ensign College.

A: If you are graduating with an AS, AAS, or BAS and will be part-time in your last semester, you may be eligible for the “Last Semester Exception”. If you receive the scholarship, more information about how to apply for this exception will be in your award notification. If approved, your scholarship will be prorated based on how many credits you have left to take.
