Who Should Apply
The M. Russell Ballard Leadership Scholarship recognizes Ensign College students who have demonstrated leadership and service characteristics as exemplified by M. Russell Ballard’s life and teachings. Incoming freshman, transfers, and continuing students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.7 are encouraged to apply.
Students must meet all other eligibility requirements mentioned in the Ensign College Scholarship Policy.
Award Amount
$2,002 for two semesters (if the student remains eligible).
Duration
Two consecutive semesters (Spring optional) – Non-renewable.
Deadline
1 April (Spring), 15 August (Fall), and 1 December (Winter).

Full-time (12+ Credits).

Applicants will be asked to write an essay and provide two letters of recommendation. A committee will make the final selections. -
Toggle ItemHow do I retain eligibility to receive the scholarship for the second semester?Recipients of this scholarship are strongly encouraged to continue the pattern of service by finding ways to serve the campus community during the term the scholarship is received. A minimum of 15 hours of volunteer service per semester is encouraged. Students will need to report each semester on how their service is going.
