Kurzweil 3000
A text-to-speech software with many powerful tools for reading, studying, and writing. Key features include: text-to-speech in 18 languages and dialects (reading any digital text aloud, including the internet); translations to 70+ languages; built-in dictionary, thesaurus, and spell-checker; note tools (like highlighters and sticky notes); ability to create study guides, graphic organizers, and bibliographies; and more. This free tool is available to all current Ensign College students and staff. To access your account, go to the Kurzweil3000 website , click “forgot password,” and enter your Ensign College email. Follow the instructions in the email to learn your username and set your password.
Microsoft Office365
The software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, and Outlook, is free to students while enrolled. Sign in to the Ensign College Microsoft Online Portal with your college email. Click the “Install and more” drop down and choose “Install Microsoft 365 apps”.
QuickBooks
Students are eligible for a free, 1-year license to this desktop accounting program. Register using your Ensign College email at the Intuit Education Website . You may continue to renew the license as long as you are an active student.
SketchUp Pro
Students can purchase a 1-year license to use this 3D modeling software at the discounted rate of $55.00/year by registering at the SketchUp Website . If any updates are released within the terms of the license, they will be emailed to the student.
