In accordance with federal regulations, Ensign College informs students about their options when it comes to voter registration for upcoming elections. We encourage all eligible students to exercise their right to vote.
"We must make our influence felt by our vote, our letters, and our advice. We must be wisely informed and let others know how we feel. We must take part in local precinct meetings and select delegates who will truly represent our feelings."
1998 Higher Education Act
The 1998 Higher Education Act requires all post-secondary institutions to make a good-faith effort to distribute voter registration forms to each degree- or certificate-seeking student who attends classes on campus. The forms, which are supplied by each state, must be distributed before the registration cut-off date for every federal and gubernatorial election, as well as special elections for federal office.
Ensign College accommodates current students by sending them an e-mail with the links to where they can register to vote. We are also making those links available in this webpage.
Utah Residents
Utah residents have two options when registering to vote. The first one is online through the Utah Online Voter Registration page.
The second option is mailing in a paper copy of the Utah Voter Registration Form .
