Do you love people? Are you interested in the medical field? If so, the Medical Assisting Certificate may be right for you. At LDS Business College, our Medical Assisting Certificate is a CAAHEP accredited program. Our program is competency based, which will help students achieve the highest level of confidence in both soft and technical skills.
In just four semesters, you will get in and out with great skills in healthcare such as injection, phlebotomy, ECK, etc., along with bedside manner. This includes an internship in a clinical setting along the Wasatch front to help solidify the knowledge gained within the classroom.
The certificate can be coupled with an AS degree for those looking to transfer. Complete the certificate and start working while continuing the associate degree. This program offers great benefits to students in several aspects of healthcare, working side-by-side with providers and other allied health professionals. Upon completion of the program, a graduate student can sit for the CMA or RMA exam.
