Students, staff and faculty participated on Tuesday in a Cultural Celebration centered on Christmas. The activity was called "Christmas Around the World." Because there are so many diverse cultures represented with students from close to 50 different countries, attendees were able to experience Christmas food and traditions from throughout the globe.
Tuesday's cultural celebration consisted of students representing the following countries:
-
Philippines
-
United States
-
Mexico
-
Chile
-
Colombia
-
Taiwan
-
Argentina
-
Etc.
Students had their own booths where they shared traditional foods, showcased flags, wore traditional attire and even danced. The event was a fun way to represent countries and a great opportunity to learn more about them and their Christmas traditions.
