LDSBC hosts Women to Women Valentine luncheon for single parents

On Thursday, LDS Business College partnered with the Women to Women Foundation to hold a mentoring luncheon for single parents currently attending the College.

This gave female students an opportunity to realize that they are loved, supported and not alone.

Board member Julie Barfuss introduced Women to Women and their mission of raising money for single parents. Not only does the money they raise impact the parent and their children, but future generations as well.

Participants at the luncheon then took time to answer questions amongst their tables with the end-goal of getting to know each other better.

At the conclusion of the afternoon, Valentine favors were handed out to everyone in attendance to once again affirm that they were loved and appreciated.

Women to Women strives to help single parents and their families become better through their mentoring programs and scholarships. To learn more about what they have to offer, you can go to their website at womentowomenfoundation.org.
