Our Ultimate Potential, Our Divine Nature

It’s a question everybody asks at least once in life and many students ask themselves everyday. Who are you?

She spoke about divine nature. The divine potential that is within each and every person. She asked many questions that required audience members to think deep about their actions and purpose. She quoted Alma and asked, “Have you received His image in your countenance?” She asked, “Are you living in a way that allows you to return to your Heavenly Father?”

Warnas spoke with great analogies and metaphors to illustrate her points of Satan’s temptations and deceptions. “As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we cannot be shy or timid about who we are,” she said. “We must not settle for anything but what the Lord wants us to be.”

In her last words, she related to Disney’s “The Lion King” and urged the audience to always remember who we are. She admonished us to never forget that we are sons and daughters of the true King.
