Campus Security

IF YOU NEED ON-CAMPUS EMERGENCY HELP NOW, CALL 801-240-2771.

The Ensign College campus is secured during all hours of every day by the Church Security Department (CSD). Their officers are trained to respond to threats, medical emergencies, and other related concerns. We encourage members of the campus community to save their phone number listed below in their phone and contact them immediately should they ever observe suspicious activity.

  • Emergency Line: (801) 240-2771
  • Non-Emergency Line: (801) 240-2661

These phone numbers will connect the caller directly to the CSD Global Security Operations Center. The dispatcher can deploy whatever resources the caller requires, including the on-campus officer, local police, and other emergency services.

Crime or suspicious incidents occurring off-campus should be reported directly to the Salt Lake City Police Department (SLCPD) by dialing 911 (emergency) or 801-799-3000 (non-emergency). Crimes reported to CSD will be relayed to the SLCPD, which conducts criminal investigations.

Annual Campus Security Report and Emergency Plan

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act—known as the Clery Act—requires all post-secondary educational institutions participating in Title IV student financial aid programs to disclose campus crime statistics and security information.

The Annual Security Disclosure Report (see link below) is intended to provide students and employees with information concerning personal safety and College policies, and to comply with the disclosure requirements of the Clery Act.
