Interior Design at Ensign College took a significant step forward this week, as its first eligible student passed the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) Exam.
The news comes after a culmination of 2+ years of changes to the program meant to help students meet the minimum requirements of education and experience necessary for the exam.
The successful completion comes from someone in Ensign College's first group of eligible students. More students are expected to receive their results in the coming weeks.
The NCIDQ exam period typically goes from October-November each year, and the typical pass rate sits at just 60%.
Additionally, all Interior Design students this semester have secured internships - another feat for the program.
