Six Ensign College students participated in the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) National Leadership Conference last week, with four of those students finishing in the top-10 of their events.
The National Awards Program recognizes excellence in a number of business and career-related areas. PBL competitive events also prepare college students for the workforce by expanding their classroom experience with real-world scenarios.
With nearly 1,000 competitors participating from around the country, the following students placed in their events:
- Brenda Rivera, 4th place in Global Analysis & Decision Making
- Alex Wylie, 4th place in Cybersecurity
- WeiQing Zhao, 5th place in Small Business Management
- Dougie Wechsler, 10th place in Contemporary Sports Issues
