STUDENT ENGAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP

Purpose


The Student Ambassadors are leaders on campus who represent the student body. They assist the college in promoting and enhancing the student experience for current students and participating in recruitment efforts to help prospective students see the value of Ensign College. They work closely with students and the administration to promote continuous improvement and a culture of discipleship. Specifically, Student Ambassadors do the following:

  • Promote a culture of discipleship at Ensign College. 
  • Participate as acting members of administrative work groups and committees to represent the student voice.
  • Establish and maintain student feedback channels to better understand the student experience and where improvements can be made. 
  • Promote student involvement and help peers connect to the Ensign College community. 
  • Engage in recruitment efforts to help prospective students see the value of attending Ensign College.

    Duda

    Hi! I’m Eduarda, but most people call me Duda. I’m from Curitiba, Brazil, and I’m studying Medical Assisting. I enjoy singing, playing the ukulele, going to the gym, playing pickleball, and spending time with family and friends. I also love meeting new people, so if you see me around campus, feel free to say hi. I’d be excited to get to know you!

    I’m Alex and I am from Grenoble - France (a town is in the middle of the French Alps). I am currently doing an Associate degree in Business Management here at Ensign College. I am a big skier so if you want to go hit me up, and I also enjoy playing soccer. Music is a big part of my life since I played oboe for more that 14 years. If you see me on campus, don’t hesitate to come say hi and talk to me. I am so excited to meet you all!

    My name is Julieta Laredo, and I am from Mexico! I am currently studying Digital Marketing at Ensign College and will be graduating soon. I am passionate about creativity, storytelling, and helping businesses grow through digital strategy and visual content. I love photography, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, working out, and meeting new people. My dream is to combine entrepreneurship with creativity. If you see me around campus, say hi!     Hello, I’m Schekina Boumba from Brazzaville, the Republic of The Congo. I’m studying Business Management with an emphasis in Hospitality & Tourism and Project Management. I speak both English and French. I’m passionate about connecting with others, whether through meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, or shared experiences. While we each bring unique backgrounds, we share the same purpose to grow as better disciples of Jesus Christ.  So, If you spot me on campus feel free to say hi, I promise I don’t bite!

    Hi! I am Nathalia Barcellos from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I'm here at Ensign College studying Interior Design, and I love how hands-on and practical the program is— it’s been such a great experience so far! I'm always up for an adventure, so feel free to invite me anytime to go biking, swimming, hiking, or even grab some ice cream. I’m so excited to be part of this community and can’t wait to meet you all!

    Hello! I am Patricia Donato from the Philippines, and I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and an associate's degree in Medical Assisting. I love singing, music, swimming, and trying out new recreational activities.     Olá! My name is Gustavo Domaredzky, and I’m from Curitiba, Brazil. I’m currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in both Computer Science and Accounting. I’m passionate about sports—especially soccer—and I’m also a big Spider-Man fan! I enjoy learning new languages, and right now I’m studying Spanish.
