Who Should Apply
Students must complete the FAFSA (federal aid application) and apply for the scholarship. Scholarship applicants will only be considered for this scholarship once their federal financial aid has been awarded.
Based on a 2022-23 FAFSA, students whose Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) is less than $71,000 (or their parents if the student is a dependent student) would be eligible.
This scholarship is available for both full and part-time students (6 credit minimum). Pathway Scholarship recipients are not eligible.
April 1 (Spring), August 15 (Fall) and December 1 (Winter)
*Priority will be given to those who meet the deadline. However, applications will be accepted up until Friday of the first week of school. Students who apply after the priority deadline may still be awarded the scholarship if funding is available.
Students awarded the Hope Scholarship will receive the equivalent of full church member tuition through a combination of an institutional scholarship or Pell grant.
We encourage students to apply for as many scholarships that they “match” with and the Hope Scholarship will make up the difference.
