Ensign College announces hire of Paul Eden as CIO

Bruce Kusch, President of Ensign College, and Tracy Flinders, Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer of the Church Educational System, announce the appointment of Paul Eden as the new Chief Information Officer of Ensign College.

As CIO, Eden will oversee the acquisition, creation and secure operation of technology at Ensign College and the management of interdisciplinary technology-centric teams. Eden's appointment is effective immediately.

Prior to his appointment as CIO, Eden was the senior director of BYU apps in Application Engineering at BYU's Office of Information Technology.

"Paul Eden is a skilled IT professional with considerable experience leading technical teams," Flinders said. "He is a qualified leader with a solid track record of keeping commitments and working diligently to ensure the availability and protection of IT systems. He is sure to be a valuable asset to Ensign College and will be a catalyst to the furthering of its mission."

Bruce Kusch added, “We are very excited to have to Paul joining the Ensign College team and are confident his talents and experience will provide excellent leadership as we pursue our institutional goals.”

Eden holds a bachelor's degree in Family Science and Human Development from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Baker College.

Eden has also been a member of The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square for five years and enjoys being a goodwill ambassador for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
