Since the Ensign College Business Club's inception in 2014, participants have earned awards and recognitions (including the community service award) every year. In fact, two of Utah's three State DECA Officers came from Ensign College in 2020 and 2021.The last two Best of State College Students, Lavinia Anderl (2019) and Jessica Meyers (2020) also came from Ensign College. The Business Club helps connect students to industry professionals and organizations, including:

  • SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management)
  • PMI (Project Management Institute)
  • ISM (Institute for Supply Management) 

Ensign College also hosts chapters for career and technical student organizations DECA and PBL (the collegiate division of Future Business Leaders of America), with more student chapters to come. Brent began teaching at Ensign College in 2011 and became Program Chair for the Global Supply Chain and Project Management programs in 2014. He currently serves as Program Chair for the Business Management program and is the Collegiate DECA (business club) advisor at Ensign College. Passionate about making a difference, he focuses on engaging students in applicable, real-time projects for businesses and other organizations.
