Welcome to Student Accounts!
The following payments are the most common charges to student accounts. For instructions on how to pay these charges, see the "How to Make a Payment" tab.
Tuition
Tuition for part-time students (1-11 credits) is calculated by credit hour. Tuition for full-time students (12-18 credits) is a set price. Tuition is non-refundable unless the class is dropped by the Drop Deadline. See Registration Policies for deadlines and related policies.
Course Content Charges
These are for required course-related materials delivered electronically through the Learning Management System (Canvas). Course content charges are non-refundable unless the class is dropped by the Add/Drop Deadline.
International Deposit
International students must pay a deposit to guarantee they can cover their expenses while they are students. If someone else will pay the deposit on your behalf, see the "Payer Invitations" tab for instructions on how to give them access to your account.
Testing Center Charges
You cannot pay for a test in advance. Take the test first. The testing center will charge your account. You can then pay your test charge online.

1098-T
The 1098-T is a tax form that colleges and universities provide to students each year. It shows the amount of tuition and qualified education expenses paid during the tax year. This form can help students and their families qualify claim education-related tax credits or deductions when filing their taxes. If you are a domestic student (or permanent resident) with a valid Social Security Number (SSN) on file, you will automatically receive the 1098-T.
Please note: Not all international students are eligible to receive this form. If you have questions, please talk to the Cashier's Office on the 2nd floor email the Cashier's Office at cashier@ensign.edu.
Important: The 1098-T can only be requested during the tax season (January 15 - April 15). It cannot be requested for previous tax years.
All students enrolled at least 3/4 time (9 credit hours or more) as of the tuition deadline date must have adequate medical coverage. All applicable students are automatically enrolled in and charged for the Ensign College Student Health Plan (DMBA). If you already have adequate coverage through an employer or family health plan, you can waive the DMBA coverage and charges.
Students who are taking fewer than 9 credits, as well as those who want coverage during semesters they are not taking classes, can also enroll in the DMBA plan (see "Extended Coverage" below).
Ensign College Health Plan
The Ensign College Health Plan is administered by Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators (DMBA). Once you have paid your health plan premium, the Cashier’s Office will confirm your coverage with DMBA. You are not considered “insured” by the health plan until you have paid your premium.
For information on how to enroll in or waive the Ensign College Health Plan, visit Student Health Plans .
Private Insurance
If you already have eligible health insurance coverage through an employer or family member, you do not need to enroll in the Ensign College Health Plan.
