President and Sister Kusch
President Bruce C. Kusch began his Church Educational System employment as a member of the business management faculty at Brigham Young University–Idaho in August 2002.

She holds a degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Brigham Young University and worked as a professional singer and actress before becoming an entrepreneur. Bishop Gérald Caussé, of France, was named the presiding bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on October 9, 2015. He filled the vacancy created by Gary E. Stevenson, who became a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on October 3, 2015.
Dean Garner
“The most important thing on earth to me is my wife Lisa and our family.” Brother Garner and his wife Lisa were married in the Los Angeles Temple. They are the parents of three daughters and one son; all of which are married to wonderful spouses. They have “five perfect grandchildren!”
Ahmad S. Corbitt
Brother Ahmad S. Corbitt is married to Jayne L. Corbitt. The Corbitts have six children and eleven grandchildren. As a young man, Brother Corbitt served in the Puerto Rico San Juan mission. Sister Corbitt served in the Washington, D.C. mission. Brother Corbitt received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law. His professional career has been in law, public and media relations, international relations and diplomacy, interfaith relations and religious freedom. Most recently, Brother Corbitt directed the New York Office of Public and International Affairs for the Church. He has served on several Boards of Directors, including the National Bible Association and the National Interfaith Cable Coalition (or Odyssey Networks), and he is currently a member of various organizations, university boards and councils. He received the Norman Vincent Peale Award for Positive Thinking for 2014. Brother Corbitt served as president of the Cherry Hill New Jersey Stake and the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo East Mission. He was recently called as first counselor in the Young Men General Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Liz Darger
Liz Darger is the senior associate athletic director at Brigham Young University where she oversees multiple men’s and women’s athletic teams. In addition, she oversees human resources, student-athlete welfare, gender equity, diversity and inclusion, and is a campus Title IX liaison. She serves on a variety of committees at BYU, for the West Coast Conference, and on the NCAA Common Ground Leadership Team.
Elder Kent Richards
Elder Kent F. Richards was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 4, 2009. He served as a counselor in the Chile Area Presidency from 2011 to 2012 and also served as a counselor in the Europe Area Presidency. He served as an Assistant Executive Director in the Temple Department from 2013 to 2014, and on August 1, 2014, he became the Executive Director of the Temple Department. As Executive Director, he worked closely with the First Presidency in the oversight and administration of the Church’s temples throughout the world. He became an Emeritus General Authority on October 1, 2016. He currently serves as the Director of Church Hosting for the First Presidency. Elder Richards graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Utah in 1969. In 1972 he received his medical degree, also from the University of Utah. He worked as a surgeon for IHC Bryner Clinic from 1977 to 2009 and served as senior vice president for four years at Intermountain Health Care. Elder Richards has also served as a clinical professor of surgery at the University of Utah, chairman of the department of surgery at LDS Hospital, and member of the board and executive committee on the IHC board of trustees. Elder Richards has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Southeast Mexican Mission, elders quorum president, bishop, Scoutmaster, high councilor, stake president, and president of the Texas San Antonio Mission (1998–2001). Kent Farnsworth Richards was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 25, 1946. He married Marsha Gurr in August 1968. They are the parents of eight children.
Raymond Robinson
Raymond Robinson has served as director of the Music and Cultural Arts Division of the Church’s Priesthood and Family Department since 2010. Before his appointment, he led the dance department at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He earned continuing status in the dance department at BYU and has held visiting posts at Michigan State University and The University of Michigan.
Thomas Morgan
President Thomas B. Morgan was sustained as the stake president of the Salt Lake Pioneer Young Single Adult Stake in April 2016. Before this call, he served as the president of the New York New York North Mission with his wife, Debbie Morgan, from June 2012 to 2015.
Craig Bell
Craig D. Bell began his LDS Church Educational System employment in August 1987 as an instructor in the Seminary and Institute program. After spending some time in the wood products industry, he returned to Church education as an instructor in the business department at Ricks College in August 1996. In 2001, he was part of the team that transitioned the business department from a two-year to a four-year degree program for Brigham Young University–Idaho.
Ron Case
After serving a mission to South Korea, Brother Case taught at the Missionary Training Center while earning his BA from Brigham Young University. He earned a master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. Brother Case has taught seminary and institute for 30 years and is finishing his second year teaching Religion classes here at LDS Business College. Before coming to Ensign College, he taught college students for 13 years at the Institute of Religion adjacent to the University of Utah. He was sealed to Sharise Orton on December 31, 1998 in the Boise Temple, and they are the parents of five wonderful children.
Alynda Kusch
Sister Alynda Kusch was born in Southern California and spent her time as a child and youth in Santa Ana, Lancaster, Whittier and San Diego. Following high school, she attended BYU and met President Kusch in an institute chorus. They married in the Los Angeles Temple and are the parents of four children and have 15 grandchildren.
John Barger
John M. Barger joined Deseret Trust Company as President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees in 2013. He previously worked for brokerage and bank-affiliated trust companies and investment management firms in Montana and Utah, serving as senior trust administrator, senior trust officer and senior vice president. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, John served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. His military career involved assignments in signals intelligence and space and missile operations in Turkey, Italy, Greece, Alaska and multiple locations in the continental United States. A convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, John served as bishop and stake president in Great Falls, Montana. He and his wife Lauri presided in the Kenya Nairobi Mission from 2004-2007. He currently serves as the elders quorum president in his ward. John and Lauri have four children and nine grandchildren, and they live in Farmington, Utah.
Elder Quentin L. Cook
Elder Quentin L. Cook was sustained as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 6 October 2007. Called as a General Authority in April 1996, he served in the Second Quorum, the First Quorum, and the Presidency of the Seventy.
Melanie Conover
Melanie Conover grew up in Brigham City, Utah, and now resides in Farmington. She has worked at Ensign College for the past eight years as the manager of financial aid. She says that the best part of her job is helping students achieve their educational goals by helping them get access to the financial aid they need.
Elder John A. McCune
Elder John A. McCune was born in Santa Cruz California. His family later moved to a farm in Eastern Oregon and he grew up irrigating, bucking hay, fixing fence and working cattle.
Nelson Altamirano
Nelson Altamirano is the Ensign College Digital Marketing Program Chair. He oversees the College’s popular social media marketing degree (#instacool).
Michael Dunn
Michael Dunn is the Managing Director of BYU Broadcasting in Provo, Utah, where he oversees the nationwide operations of the BYUtv and BYUradio networks.
Robert Chambers
Robert E. Chambers is a religion instructor at BYU-Idaho. He's also a former member of the Fifth Quorum of Seventy and Utah Salt Lake City South Mission president.
Elder Ulisses Soares
Elder Ulisses Soares was sustained as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 31, 2018. He had been serving as a General Authority Seventy since April 2, 2005 and was named a member of the Presidency of the Seventy on January 6, 2013. He served previously as a counselor in the Africa Southeast Area, President of the Brazil Area and as a counselor in the Brazil South Area.
